Michael C. Wosick, CPCU, CRM

Mike joined Alternative Risk Resources in 1999, bringing with him a varied 30-year background in insurance, risk management, and alternative funding mechanisms.  In 2005, he earned the Certified Risk Managers (CRM) designation.

Most recently, Mike was Area Vice President for a multi-national brokerage firm where he spearheaded alternative market programs for Wisconsin-based clients and led a team that developed a group captive insurance program. Previously, Mike spent ten years with a large regional brokerage firm.  While there, he served in various underwriting, production, and management roles, ultimately working his way up to Division Vice President.

Mike began his insurance career in Chicago as an Underwriter Trainee for the Firemans Fund Insurance Company, a major commercial lines insurance company.  There, he advanced through various commercial underwriting positions, and was ultimately named Commercial Underwriting Supervisor.  During that time he earned the CPCU and IIA designations and taught various underwriting and IIA courses.
